One: We come from the confusion of the world,
Many: seeking the truth of God.
We come from the foolishness of the world,
Many: seeking the wisdom of God.
We come from the hunger of the world,
Many: seeking the nourishment of God.
We come from the violence of the world,
Many: seeking the peace of God.
We gather together now, with God and with each other.
